From Will Philips, The Founder Of REX - Why You May Want Your Staff to Participate in these Staff Level Roundtables

Will Philips
The single biggest problem facing any executive peer group is getting back home results from the good ideas, objectives, plans and culture that you develop in your Roundtable. REX has developed two strategies to address this. The first is to create Roundtables for your key departments, and special workshops on key topics. These include marketing, personal training, and CFOs. The second strategy can be found in REX RESOURCES under Getting Better Systems-26
The REX Personal Training Winter Roundtable has two Roundtable meetings per year--Summer and Winter. The next one will be held in New York on Dec 6-8. This Roundtable typically addresses such topics as PT sales and renewals, certification, recruiting and orienting staff pay and incentive systems, new types of PT programming and legal matters. To a significant extent, both you and the owner and the membeers of their Roundtable shape the agenda to your individual needs.
The REX Marketing Roundtable has two Roundtable meetings a year. The first, Roundtable 2 is December 12-14 in New York. The Marketing Roundtable typically addresses such topics as social media and how to measure it, which other marketing media are succeeding and how well and at what cost, each club's latest successful marketing programs in detail, use of outside agencies and resources for marketing. The agenda is largely set by the members of the marketing Roundtable and the CEOs of their clubs.
